Dr. Victoria Williams

BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Victoria Williams graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Psychology in 2006. She then attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine, graduating in 2011 with highest honors and an International Health Track Certificate. Dr.Williams then completed her internship from 2011-2012 at the Colorado Health Foundation, Presbyterian St. Luke’s and her dermatology residency at the University of Colorado Department of Dermatology from 2012-2015, serving as Chief Resident from 2014 – 2015. After completion of her residency, Dr. Williams served as an Instructor at the University of Colorado from July 2015 to January 2016. In February 2016, she moved to Botswana to take on the roles of Dermatology Specialist for the Botswana-UPenn Partnership and Ministry of Health of Botswana, Director of Dermatology at Princess Marina Hospital, and Senior Lecturer at the University of Botswana. She served as the only dermatologist in the public health sector of Botswana for 2 years. She is currently an Assistant Professor with the University of Pennsylvania Department of Dermatology and continues her clinical work in Botswana for part of the year. Her interests include Global Health, HIV care, infectious diseases, telemedicine and e-Health, and care of  people living with albinism. Williams, VL, Kovarik C.
